Anton J. DuMars love of the coast and ocean has guided his life choices. After a six-year stint in the US Navy riding nuclear submarines, Anton put technical skills learned in the Navy to work as a yacht technician and captain.
DuMars earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the College of Charleston in 1999 and a Master of Science in Geology from Louisiana State University in 2002, both with a major concentration on Coastal Processes.
His Thesis work at LSU focused on Fluvial and Deltaic sedimentation and the hydrologic processes in the Atchafalaya Basin, Louisiana.
